B2B ROUTE-TO-MARKET

Supply Chain Commerce

Connect the trade. Keep commerce moving.

Your trading partners can use different systems and still work through one connected commercial process.

Intrade Supply Chain Commerce is a B2B orchestration platform for manufacturers and distributors selling through reseller and merchant channels. It connects the communication around commercial transactions—products, pricing, stock, orders, invoices and fulfilment—across independent businesses and the applications they use.

Rep-assisted ordering in the African independent trade

The connection between market reach and revenue

Reaching an outlet is only part of the job. A rep may capture an order in one app, a distributor process it in another system and a logistics partner manage delivery separately. Re-keying information, inconsistent prices and missing order status slow the sale and limit visibility. Supply Chain Commerce coordinates those hand-offs so demand reaches the right supplier and transaction updates return to the channel.

One sale. Multiple systems. One coordinated transaction flow.

DEEP: Discover → Execute → Expand → Progress

Within Intrade’s DEEP method, Supply Chain Commerce supports Execute by linking selling to fulfilment, Expand by connecting additional channel partners, and Progress through transaction evidence for better planning. Where included, Market360 intelligence helps prioritise the outlets and routes to activate.

Multiple businesses. Connected channels.

Built on Intrade’s Data Orchestration framework, the platform uses APIs and automated workflows to connect customer and partner systems. This enables omnichannel B2B trade: rep-assisted sales, merchant self-ordering, distributor portals and ecommerce share a coordinated transaction flow while each participant retains its own systems and agreed commercial rules. The same platform supports two route-to-market configurations:

  • Merchant Marketplace (MMP). Supports in-country direct sales and merchant ordering, including sales and van-sales representatives using Intrade.App.
  • Distributor Marketplace (DMP). Supports Tier 1 and primary distribution to wholesalers, stockists and key accounts, including multi-region and export-related order and logistics coordination where scoped.
One orchestration layer. Two route-to-market configurations.

Extend the front end your channel uses

The same orchestration layer links independent contributors—logistics providers, promotion engines, loyalty and rewards programmes and AI recommendation services—to the front end your channel uses. Intrade.App, your existing sales application or a merchant portal can expose relevant services through configured integrations. Multiple specialist providers contribute to one coordinated trading experience.

Connected commerce in practice

For Mapinga Foods in Tanzania, Intrade connected mobile sales ordering to the customer’s Microsoft ERP and combined field and back-office reporting. The deployment joined market targeting, field execution and commerce in one operating model.

FROM TRANSACTION FLOW TO GROWTH

A connected transaction.
A more productive channel.

Make ordering easier, reduce manual handling and see how demand moves through your route to market.

How it works in practice

For example, a rep builds an order in Intrade.App using product, pricing and stock data from a distributor’s system. Supply Chain Commerce routes it into the agreed back-office process and returns available invoice and fulfilment updates. Connected promotion or loyalty services can contribute relevant offers, while transaction and logistics updates feed the ordering channel and analytics.

Controlled connections. Clear accountability.

Product, price and customer fields remain tied to agreed source systems. Permissions, mapping rules and exception handling keep exchanges traceable. Synchronisation and available functions depend on the connected systems and agreed scope.

What’s next? Make the connection more valuable.

Build on the transaction flow with value-added services (VAS), selected for your channel needs and available partner integrations.

  1. Access to credit. Connect merchants or resellers to partner-provided trade credit to support purchasing. Availability, eligibility and credit decisions remain with the provider.
  2. Promotions, rewards and loyalty. Bring relevant offers and programmes into ordering channels to encourage repeat purchasing and support product launches or channel development.
  3. Smarter recommendations and fulfilment. Add specialist AI recommendations and logistics services, using permissioned transaction and market context to support product selection, order follow-up and replenishment planning.

Connect the systems. Enable the trade. Grow the channel.
