About the Role
Junior Internal Systems Engineers (ISE) are advanced users of Intrade internal systems. They help support and guide users of the platform. ISE’s help with configuration during implementation projects and may from time to time provide services for customers that require large scale or batch configuration changes.
The ISE is a critical part of the testing team and is responsible for unit testing certain features and use cases prior to release of new app versions.
ISE’s work across Intrade eCommerce, Workforce Management, and Analytics platforms. We work at Intrade and sufficiently determined and motivated people will grow very quickly within our structure.
The growth paths for the ISE is often into integration, business analysis or Analytics.
Requirements
Required:
1-3+ years in systems support, maintenance or development
NQF Level 4 or better Qualification (MCSD, MCSE or Equivalent)
Must have some competency with navigating and generating SQL scripts & queries
Must have had some experience with a B.I platform such as Qlik Sense, Power B.I, Yellowfin, Tableau, Zoho Analytics
Advantageous:
Short courses in SQL, PostrgreSQL, Javascript
Short courses in QlikSense, Power B.I or Yellowfin would be highly beneficial
